Do It Yourself Bike Lanes

From the Toronto Star, via Planetizen:

A group of Toronto, Canada bicycle activists, the
Other Urban Repair Squad, have been painting bicycle lanes on Toronto streets because the city is moving too slowly to expand its bike lane program.

The Other Urban Repair Squad plans the actions carefully, and has stencils for the official city bike lane symbol, a bicycle inside a diamond.

Unfortunately, the city removes these guerrilla bike lanes when they are discovered, silly them.

The complete story is here.
